Hundred Acre Wood at Boston Children’s Museum

Event Details

The Boston Children’s Museum’s headline summer exhibit drops kids straight into A.A. Milne’s Hundred Acre Wood. Inside the Fort Point museum, the storybook geography gets built out room by room: Pooh’s house with honey to sort and Stoutness Exercises to try, Rabbit’s garden to tend, Owl’s library stocked for reading, a sandy pit for bouncing like Tigger and Roo, and Kanga’s kitchen where pretend pies come together.

It’s aimed squarely at the picture-book set — toddlers through early elementary — though parents who grew up on Pooh tend to linger too. Entry is included with regular museum admission, but you pick a timed slot when you book, and the museum layers on extras like storytimes, character visits, and a puzzle-room honey hunt for slightly older kids.
