Intro to Kintsugi (Japanese Pottery Repair) at Artisan’s Asylum

In this hands-on workshop, instructor Quantum Wei teaches kintsugi, the Japanese tradition of repairing broken pottery so that the cracks stand out. Students repair their own piece with quick-cure epoxy and liquid gold leaf, and the class also covers traditional urushi lacquer methods. Students bring their own broken pottery, and a separate materials fee is paid to the instructor.
