Live Music at SoWa Open Market
Event Details
Every Sunday from spring into fall, Harrison Avenue in the South End turns into SoWa Open Market — one of Boston’s largest open-air gatherings of artisans, farmers, and food trucks, with live musicians providing the soundtrack. Bands and solo acts play as shoppers drift between vendor tents, the beer garden’s rotating brewery takeovers, and the surrounding studios and galleries.
It’s less a concert than a rolling neighborhood afternoon: browse handmade goods, grab lunch from a truck, then settle in near the stage with a local pour. Entry is free and the market runs rain or shine. Good for families, dog walkers, out-of-town guests, and anyone who likes their live music with a side of people-watching.
