Tito Puente Latin Music Series
Event Details
The City of Boston’s long-running tribute to the mambo king brings live Latin music — heavy on salsa — to neighborhood parks on summer Thursday evenings. The series roves from LoPresti Park in East Boston to Mission Hill and the Parkman Bandstand on Boston Common, with performers drawn from Berklee faculty, students, and alumni alongside internationally known acts.
Every concert is free, all the park locations are wheelchair accessible, and select nights add free salsa lessons before the band kicks in — no partner or experience required. Bring a lawn chair and water, and note that rain cancels a show outright, with no makeup dates. It suits dancers, families, and anyone who wants their weeknight park hang with real brass behind it.
