Boston’s July 4th morning ritual hits different on the nation’s 250th birthday: the parade steps off from Copley Square at 9 a.m., and at 10:15 a.m. the Ancient and Honorable Artillery Company reads the Declaration of Independence from the Old State House balcony — 250 years to the day after Bostonians first heard it from that same railing. Stake out State Street early; the Old State House is also displaying an original July 1776 broadside of the Declaration.
