Known as the granddaddy of American open-water swims, this legendary 8-mile marathon sends wetsuit-optional swimmers from Boston Light on Little Brewster Island across the harbor to L Street Beach in South Boston. First swum in 1907, the race is timed to the incoming tide. Watch the finishers come ashore along the Curley Community Center beachfront.
