The Booksmith’s long-running book club, going strong for more than twenty-five years, meets on the second Monday of the month to discuss Amanda Peters’s The Berry Pickers. The Carnegie Medal-winning novel opens with the disappearance of a four-year-old Mi’kmaq girl from a Maine blueberry field.
