Harvard Book Store presents science journalist Kevin Hartnett discussing The Proof in the Code, his account of Lean, the proof-verification program that mathematicians including Terence Tao and Peter Scholze have adopted. The talk looks at how machine-checked mathematics is changing both math and AI reasoning. Free with RSVP; a book-included ticket is also offered.
