Peter Del Tredici, who spent more than thirty years researching woody plants at the Arnold Arboretum, presents his hemlock research in the Hunnewell Lecture Hall. The talk covers the ecology of eastern hemlock, the history of Sargent’s weeping hemlock, the impact of the hemlock woolly adelgid, and a newly described hemlock species from Korea. Free; 80 tickets are available through advance registration.
