About
A festival-style family afternoon where visitors flip logs and use magnifiers to find slugs, pill bugs and millipedes, the decomposers that recycle the forest floor. Staff explain how these creatures tie into composting and healthy ecosystems, and there is nature-inspired art making. Open to adults and families with children of all ages; $12 for nonmembers.
