The USS Cassin Young (DD-793) is a World War II-era Fletcher-class destroyer preserved as a museum ship at the Charlestown Navy Yard, part of Boston National Historical Park. Berthed near the USS Constitution, the destroyer is named for Captain Cassin Young, a Medal of Honor recipient, and saw Pacific combat including kamikaze attacks before later service. Today it represents the many destroyers actually built at this Navy Yard.
